Current accessibility support
MaintTag 1.0 supports these accessibility features listed by Apple:
- Larger Text: important text and buttons grow to at least twice their standard size. At the largest sizes, you may need to scroll more.
- Dark Interface: the app provides a dark appearance across its main screens and controls.
- Differentiate Without Color Alone: status text and symbols appear alongside colors, so color is not the only way to understand a result.
- Reduced Motion: you can complete important tasks without relying on animation, and MaintTag follows the device’s Reduce Motion setting.
Assistive technologies
Common screens use standard Apple controls, clear labels, readable headings, and buttons that are large enough to tap. Testing with VoiceOver and Voice Control is still in progress, so those features are not currently listed as supported in the App Store.
Audio and video
MaintTag does not currently contain video, spoken dialog, or audio-only instructional content. Captions and audio descriptions therefore do not apply to the current release.
Using appearance and text settings
Choose MaintTag → Settings → Appearance to follow the system appearance or select Light or Dark. Appearance changes apply immediately. Text size, Increase Contrast, Reduce Motion, VoiceOver, and Voice Control are managed in the device’s Accessibility settings.
This website
You can use this website with a keyboard, enlarge its text, switch to a dark appearance, and reduce motion. A “Skip to content” link helps keyboard users move past the menu.
